ESD Field Service Kits are made in the USA from a three layer static dissipative vinyl material with a buried conductive layer for static charge dissipation. The top and bottom surfaces are a proprietary vinyl blend, engineered to be ESD safe, non-tacky, durable, and stain resistant. Surface resistivity is 10⁶ – 10⁹ ohms. They are designed to provide a portable ESD safe environment for field technicians working with static sensitive devices. The outer layer of this field service kit is resistant to punctures or tears. The edges are bound to make them more durable. To stop static electricity from damaging electronic components, an ESD safe work area is essential for field service technicians performing in-field repair or installation of electronic devices. The entire kit folds to fit into most tool cases. Bertech’s Field Service Kit includes a 24″ x 24″ mat with two 8 “x 12” pockets for tools, an adjustable elastic fabric wrist strap, and a grounding cord.
